Valencia, Spain: Day 1
Well, we moved to Valencia as planned, and here’s the proof. Not that we need to prove it to you, dear and faithful reader; we need to prove it to ourselves. When you plan and think about something for three years and then you actually do it, it’s a little hard to believe that the planning stage is over and the doing/experiencing/living has begun.
There are a lot of mundane tasks that must be attended to when moving to a new country — getting a new cell phone provider, opening a local bank account, etc. — and we’ll work on those in due time. But for our first full day here we’ll head out to explore some of the reasons for coming to Spain and Valencia in the first place.
